the maps are interesting -- tells us about the the history and the ethnic complication of the area.

i still dont get your point.. how about ethical maps of Tibet or South Mongolia from the End of the Manchurian Empire until now?

i don't have a mongolia or south mongolia map. but there is a china ethnic map including inner mongolia.

sorry but this map is not a ethnic map. its a nationalities map.

well... i thought we can see a ethnical development of those areas after chinese began to colonise there..

second Map is not even close to be ethnical. Its political map of Qing Empire provinces and royal protectorates.
